The Future of Infinite Resources |
Posted: January 22, 2018 |
It is no secret that natural resources are the naturally occurring materials that form from our earth but what doesn’t seem to be big news is how we are currently having a lot of success in finding sustainable and renewable alternatives to oil and coal. Nature has a way of providing the fuel to sustain humankind without the need to use oil I’ll call Nature has a way of providing the fuel to sustain humankind without the need to use oil or coal that cause harmful emissions and pollutions to our planet. The materials and resources we can use to create energy come from air, Water, oil, rocks, timber, plants. The responsibility to take care of the Earth should be shared by all, however some do not treat this as important has money available in the more popular fuels that cause pollution to the planet. Due to the damage caused by humans the environment has become more fragile as the earth's population increases demand on resources increase and the endeavour to source new and sustainable options for infinite energy in the future. All hopes fall to finding an appropriate alternative energy source. The Value of Resources Resources both finite and infinite are not found in nature they are created. It is us human being is that create a resource out of natural objects or certain circumstances when we discover some usable value in them. Concerns about the environment especially about the consumption of energy and afternoon however what has changed in the last few years is the maturation of renewable and sustainable energy resources. With investment into a sustainable infrastructure certain renewable energy sources could be used to power our lives in a way that is not harmful to our environment. Wind and solar power in particular could be poised to reshape the energy market in the next few years. Wind Farms In September 2017 it was announced that the offshore wind sector alone could potentially power a £17.5 billion investment in the UK economy over the next four years. The offshore wind farms economy is booming at an incredible rate due to faster than expected cost cutting subsidies for the technology required that have halved the associated costs. Offshore wind costs have halved in recent years to under £50 for every megawatt hour of energy produced, which means that this is even lower than estimates provided by experts in the predictions for the results. This means that the wind farms will be able to apply for more funding bringing an investment search into the UK. Solar Energy The price of seller has also dropped by 58% in the last five years according to a recent report by Australian non-profit ‘the climate council’ The Future of Renewables Renewables accounted for up to 2/3 of new power that was added to the world's power grids in 2016 says international energy agency. With solar power being the fastest growing source new energy worldwide, new solar capacity overtook net growth of coal which was previously the biggest source of power generation. The shift was driven mainly by falling prices and government policies, especially in countries like China who are credited for just under half of the solar panels installed.
